It’s an impressive coaching roster in terms of what they’ve done
in their respective roles elsewhere, and while they have to gel
as a unit they’ve had a full pre-season together.
I wouldn’t expect the game plan to be up and running in the
first couple of games, but if Quins can put in some good early
performances and build some confidence it could come together
for later in the year.
The other encouraging thing is the players who are back. Dommers
is a huge loss, but having Baxter, Schmid and Waghorn fit will
improve things considerably. (And considering England’s results
with and without Baxter, I bet Borthwick is keen to get him back
too).

This was the most encouraging.
"We can talk as much as we want. We can put up as many social
media posts as we want. At the end of the day, it’s what we do
on Saturday at 3pm that’s going to be crucial.”

I appreciate it's not a bunch of platitudes and it's definitely
not a "more of the same" approach either. All sensible stuff and
it seems like they are genuinely trying to address the issues.
