That was brave. They haven't even announced the date of the game
       yet.

Holds 12,500 apparently. Better than Sarries, Sale and Red
       Bulls.

There are other requirements like media facilities, Ealing had
to do a fair bit of work on those to meet the PWR requirements,
they had to build a new camera gantry and also some other
       changes.
The memorial ground is pretty run down, and not really anywhere
like as good as even the worst Prem stadiums, Rovers were
looking to develop a new stadium but a deal with Sainsbury’s
fell through, which caused a court case they lost, and
eventually they decided to redevelop the memorial ground, but
that so far has just reduced the capacity to 12300 with less
than 3000 of that being seated.

Fair points. Though presumably Bath do need to find a home for
season 27/28. And options are fairly limited. The football
ground in Bath (Bath City) is far too small so they’ll have to
move outside the city. Bristol is close so convenient. Though I
see a fixture logistic nightmare for Ashton Gate balancing two
Premier Rugby teams and a Championship Football side, if that
were an option. I’m not sure Reading will be a season long
answer. Although this is just me surmising but it’ll be
interesting to see what Bath’s solution is going to be.

I could see them going for Reading for the season, particularly
if they arrange a shuttle-bus service from the station to the
stadium. It's an easy enough train journey on the direct
London-Bristol route, or a drive along the M4 for those wanting
       to drive...

       Nope
Plan is to build the stadium piecemeal - basically knock it all
down, move the pitch away from the river a bit, and build the
East (Scaffolding) stand in Summer 2027 (early start by moving 2
matches, probable late finish with the RWC); with finishing work
during the season on non-match days; and take their time on the
West (riverside) stand which can be done during the season, due
to the pitch being moved (though how much this affects capacity
       is anyone's guess).
North and South stands to be concentrated on Summer 2028

Impressive looking project but it is a seriously big build with
lots of potential problems building that close to a large river.
I can't see how it won't effect their capacity next year, I
imagine they'll have to move more than just 2 games.
