Bad tempered game with not a lot of atmosphere. Absurd number of
cards (although all deserved).

The seatbelt rule has changed, though I'm not sure what to. Most
refs would absolutely have given that as a penalty though.
Argentina, with their baiting of the mockers gods by wearing the
Maradona Hand of God football shirts, made themselves hostages
to fortune and only have themselves to blame.

I thought calouri was lucky to get away with it, in two senses:
lucky no penalty and lucky Slade covered across after such a
week attempt at a tackle.
I thought the ref handled things pretty well really. Every card
I think was correct

On a positive note for Quins in the coming season, I thought
that when he came on, Wenger was their best LH. Held up his side
of the scrum, tacked like a demon and all with a smile on his
face. Another baby-faced assassin in the Fin Baxter mould?

Had Caluori's tackle been deemed high, there's an argument it
could have been another penalty try.
Personally I thought it was high. I also thought it was a try
anyway. Just my opinion.

I thought it would be a penalty try from Caluori's tackle so was
happy with the outcome. Although Slade made face/head contact
you just never see those penalised when trying to stop a try. I
can't see how the grounding would be considered a try though.
Sod the filthy Argies! I hear Contepomi threw another toddler
tantrum as well - happy days!

Chessum got penalised for all this. Very funny refereeing.
Contepomi crying about England showing a lack of respect when
his team showed up in the 1986 football shirt just to needle the
opposition is genuinely hilarious. He is exactly the sort of guy
that Argentina do not need in charge. He's worse than they are!
