Yep. Couple of nice touches but otherwise hasn't linked well,
and dropped ball he shouldn't. That missed tackle was bad,
albeit two bigger players got run over by the same player a
little later. Just his luck that this is the match he gets some
time at 10 - well, right until JvP idiotically gets himself
binned

game was seemingly entirely focused on winding England up about
the football and all that, and then they go and play like soft
sacks of manure and embarrass themselves in the first half while
trying to be all aggro. Sure hope England can finish this off in
the second half.

I forgot about the classic Borthwick/Wigglesworth Half Time
Impact. England have been as bad after half time as Argentina
were in the first half. Still very funny but for very different
reasons

Well, Marcus might finish the game having played two or three
positions, scored a try and being the only player on either side
not to get a yellow card, so not too bad!
IFW has been excellent. Strange game really. Argentina got it
all wrong first half, came right back into it then fell asleep
again.
As I finish typing smith has been sacrificed!

How is Gardner seeing that scored before it goes out? He just
wanted to leave the stadium alive!

I'm glad its not just me that thought the ball was clearly on
the line! Having said that I thought Calouri's tackle could
easily have been a penalty.

Gloriously funny ending. Very much enjoyed the Argies throwing a
massive tantrum at the end. Very strong work by the TMO to hold
his ground there.
Argentina could've easily won that if they weren't such massive
pillocks more interested in the aggro, it hurt them badly in
that first half.
Not sure why Caluori was thrown on for the last few minutes, it
was his shocking tackle at the end that nearly threw the win
away

Another simple conversion missed by Fin Smith giving Argentina
the chance to draw the game.

I did mention that Slade had turned into a very committed
defender... Match winning effort at the end there

Over the shoulder is high
I thought both tackles were clearly high under the seatbelt
rule.
Not all players are professional, most need to go to school or
work on Monday. Elite refs need to remember that, as club
players will argue that so-and-so got away with it on TV.
