Marcus is a very useful utility back.
Had posted multiple times at 10 and 15 at international level.
Has posted at 12 for England with Faz at playing at 10
Can cover 9
I know that we all want him at 10, but, maybe his long term
option is as a utility back.

You can see SB, rolling the dice on a 7/1 split, as nothing else
has really worked, Marcus covers 9/10/15 and pollock becomes a
centre or wing if required.

I think the "utility back" label comes with baggage but when the
player is starting at test level it should be a mark of honour!
There may be drawbacks to picking Faz at 12 or Marcus at 15 but
it's mightily impressive, nonetheless. More to the point, the
Barrett brothers being util backs has never seemed to earn them
a bad press!
