I only said there are better hookers and didn't mean to apply
they are available if it came across that way, QP added the
available bit. I also didn't say Thacker was better than Creevy
but would rather Quins looked longer term to build a front row
around than a shorter term option.

I did say I wasn't talking about who was available but rather
about better hookers and to say again I believe Quins are better
of in my opinion looking longer term. In my original response
before QP responded I never mention anything about hookers being
available.

I added the bit I was typing before I pressed post by mistake,

I believe Quins are better using the 320k it was reported that
Creevy was asking for on a longer term option, one that a set
piece can be built around.

Crumpton is really good. Wardy has deserved his run,
particularly after his excellence v Exeter. However, Crumpton
has been great in every game. He will be chomping or champing at
the bit on Saturday!

Not much point asking "who is available?" as generally, we dont
know. Who would have know Creevy was available had Fissler not
mentioned it. Goes back to when there were the calls for JK to
go, people asking "well who is there to replace him". There are
always options out there, 99% of the time we will have no idea
who though. One player said to be on the move (Heading to
Sarries apparently) is Singleton from Warriors. He would have
been a good signing. Another one would be the hooker who plays
for Wellington in NZ (Asafo Aumua). I think he is around the
ABs now. A beast around the field and can actually do the
hooker basics, which can be a novelty these days. Only 21/22 as
well. I am sure we will see a decent hooker come in

Did he play for the Baby Blacks in the U20s World Cup a couple
of seasons ago? He scored a couple (?) of tries in the final and
Flats describes him as like a man amongst boys.
