for it is not a option. If i want a physical card it will cost
another £20 ,they say it will mean faster access to the ground
but having stood behind someone trying to locate it on there
phone at many away grounds I don’t thing that’s true .

I have four season tickets that get used by a combination of
friends and family week to week. It will be a nightmare trying
to 'send' the right ticket to each person each week, plus it
will force them to download a Quins app to receive and use it,
AND, they will still need a separate physical card to access the
lounge!
Plus, it's impossible to purchase more than one card on the
hopeless ticketing system. Looks like you have to sign in and
purchase them one at a time. Whoever designed it appears to have
assumed each supporter has only one season ticket (their own).

And it seems there will be a separate physical card to control
access to the various lounges. So the app will give access to
the Stoop but not the lounges. I had heard a story that access
to the Debenture Lounge is now super strict as a few members had
renewed their season ticket but not their debenture yet had
retained their physical card and were continuing to visit the
Debenture Lounge.

I like the idea of it as I once left my card at home and had an
issue getting in.
Whereas I am very unlikely to leave my phone at home.
However, charging 20 quid for a physical card seems cheeky. I
think it is okay to charge for a replacement card, but you
should get one for free with your first membership.

I've used the same 2 physical cards for the last couple of
seasons at least. Why the need to issue a new one rather than
just continue to authorise the physical cards we already hold ?
If anyone also wants to use the App surely they can do this in
addition to holding their existing card ?

Will this be a different card from the one that existing STHs
already have? If so, that's profoundly irritating.

I did the “ Email the club” thing and was told current cards
won’t work and will have to buy a new one at £20
It’s the data mining that irks me, everything now is “ Sign up
here to see the new shirts” , sign up here to get etc
Chiefs did the same and charged a tenner, all that aside states
“ Following customer feedback’ really ?

I really like the idea as it's one less thing to forget or lose.
BTW if you do forget it, as I have, then just go to ticket desk
on the day. They sort it out.
But, there's a huge but. (1) the £20 charge just smacks of
strong arm persuasion to change over and (2) the need for
another card to to access the various member's bars is bonkers
(just need readers at the entrances) and totally undermines the
benefit of doing away with the first card because I will still
have to remember both!

I agree the constant sign-ups are very very annoying.
Especially as the emails are already delayed compared to the
announcements, e.g. the team annoucement emails is sent several
hours after the announcement on the website. It should not be
beyond the club to set things up to go out simultaneously.
And if I need to buy a card to access a STH benefit then it is
not a benefit of the ST and is just stupid considering the cost
of the ST

I don't mind the app thing, have to use it for everything else
like the Gym, railway or loyalty cards in supermarkets so no
real difference.
I do mind the £20 charge though, I think that is a liberty for
peeps who prefer a piece of plastic. And the different card for
different bars, why implement something you can't make uniform
across the site. Lazy!
