Complete humiliation.
These are good players, but no one seems to know where they're
supposed to be or what they're supposed to be doing.
A continuation from the terrible 6N.

Great to see George Ford, a 33 year old fly half with 113 caps,
play the full 80 in a season where he's played 26 matches for
(now) over 2000 minutes of rugby, including playing the full 80
in 6 of the 7 internationals (he missed 8 minutes of the first
one).
Superb - he really needs the miles in his legs, the experience
of being on the pitch, and the security of being trusted to play
the full 80 in an uncapped match.
What's that skippy? He's lost 9 of his last 12 matches for club
& country and had a succession of injury issues before this
season? Surely not, we'd never flog a player for no reason
without an obvious benefit in mind

That was utterly disgraceful. All it essentially was, was living
proof why we should have canned SB after the 6 nations. Frankly
the whole pack in the second half shouldn’t even be holding
tackle bags against SA in the warm up yet alone play.

I thought we at least tried stuff - sure we dropped everything
but certainly rhe 2nd quarter we had numerous good attacks and
threatened their line loads.
Ford kicked away good ball a lot. Marcus got better, cadan was v
good. Quirke looked decent when he came on.
Blamire should never darken an England squad again.
Ben curry was pants.

Cadan in 51 minutes vs Noah's 80 made a lot more metres, missed
fewer tackles, made more breaks, lost the ball 0 times to
Caluori's 5 (worst of either team), made more offloads, and
actually scored a try.
But Caluori's the story despite constantly losing the ball in
the air and on the ground, and unfortunately getting ragdolled
in contact on multiple occasions.
I don't doubt he's likely to have a long and impressive career
but gosh let's actually watch these matches rather than sticking
to a narrative, eh

This kind of thing drives me crazy. We used to get it for
Freddie Stewart as the commentators praised his brilliance in
the air just as he spilled the ball for the third time in the
match.

That really was a pretty shocking spike by England. It was
frankly embarrassing how much bull they cost up in contact.
Don't get the hype with calorie certainly based on this match.
But I think he's too young and inexperienced to really be
playing internationals. I'm sure he'll improve. Ewels and Izekwe
have never really been international standard. We might have
been better giving game time to some youngsters

Agreed on Calouri. He should still be playing U20s
internationals. On the other hand, this was a low-stakes game to
try him in, which is kind of what you're asking for when you say
they should give game time to youngsters. He just needs to not
be in the actual test teams.
