HBO Max

Has anybody else switched to watching TNT sports via the HBO Max
app?
Does anyone have a credible alternative? I find the colour
balance horribly overcooked compared to every other app on the
TV and the frame rate seems to swap between “Peter Jackson
experimenting with high frame rate” and “the Pentium inside is
to old to run this app”.
I don’t suppose any of you (or deadly’s tech butler) have found
a better way to watch?

I watch TNT via the HBO max app, works fine on my Samsung, is
better on my Apple TV 4k, they have updated the app, a few times
since it was introduced, try deleting and reinstalling, and if
you can clear the cache on the app.
It had some frame rate matching problems, which seem to have
been cured, with the updated app.
If it still judders, turn off any motion processing on the TV,
is it all of the channels or just ultimate in 4k that is giving
the problem.

Thanks. I have iit on auto update, so the version is current.
Clearing the cache did seem to help with the frame rate. Colour
balance is still horrible, though.

I run it through my fire TV cube it works fine, maybe it's the
TV rather than the app?
