Because it gives the England coaches a chance to look at
potential future England players in a camp and without the
pressure of a test match in a week or two.

Really pleased for Hobson. He's been one of our standout
performers this season IMO.

I had completely forgotten the match against France, which with
so many players tied up in the respective finals, will be B
teams for both sides.
If he goes with a 6-2 split, then that is the pack and bench,
though some of the backs will not get capped.
Though as with Barbarian matches in the past, it is a good way
of getting a single cap.

Most BaaBaas games aren't capped and given this is an England XV
v a France XV, I doubt this will be either

Yeah. I don't think this one is capped. If it was, it wouldn't
be called an England XV.

It’s definitely not capped, so a certain South African centre
can also play.

Pleased for Hobson, he's been a delight to watch this season.
