Titi and Williams along with Chisholm are the biggest surprises
for me personally

Echo others thoughts. Fully expected Titi to be off, which
translates as no other new tightheads incoming. In theory we
have depth but we really need Delgado and Swiegers to step up
next season.
Real shame that Benson is off.
Kind of glad Chis is staying. Hopefully he gets back to playing
and gets a proper send off in a year or two. Would be a shame if
that achilles injury were it for him.

Glad Tyrone is staying. Not fussed about J Evans leaving.
Don’t understand the issue with Anderson. Useful and cheap
filler. Keeping Chis and Titi is bonkers - but for very
different reasons.

Whilst I might share a certain lack of enthusiasm for Titi and
Williams, Delgado is Argentina's current starting tighthead, and
Wenger frequently appears on the bench for them. Good enough for
us, I think. Hobson and Streeter are great academy prospects.
Kerrod has been a solid backup for years.

I think we'll miss Benson. Not so much the others. Not that they
weren't good servants to the club, many of them, but very few
who would expect to get regular games in the Prem. It is a shame
that Lawday is going, but I suspect his best years are behind
him and injuries taking their toll.

Doubt the club extended Chis’ deal this year. Some players we
might have thought were leaving are still under contract for
next year. Explains why recruitment has been quiet as lots of
‘1st’ teamers are not leaving. Makes it clear why Jason said a
while ago that this year we were not in the market for some
positions when media thought we might be.

Also, the club has stated clearly that it wants to move to a
smaller squad with higher quality players in it.
Unfortunately the cap means you have to downsize the squad first
to creat the space to recruit better replacements, so expect it
to take at least another season.

Yes, Kerrod has been around for a few seasons an specifically
the seasons when our scrum dominance of old has departed us.
He's a back-up that goes backwards! Delgado is the same, we're
not the force in the scrum that we used to be.
