I’d add Streeting. From what I’ve seen of him, that kid has
some serious potential.

Hobson has been excellent, but I don't think he's anywhere near
the level of Baxter yet. I hope he gets there, though. We could
do with two with those levels of skill.

Now you've made me nauseous.
Although stick him in the front row and I'll cheer as he
squashed.

Not going to correct my typo as that made me chuckle.

And I’ve been following rugby long enough to also know that
other teams have proven it’s possible to bring through
youngsters alongside established vets in a managed, planned and
structured way that is actually far better for the development
of the youngsters.
Unfortunately Quins seem to keep messing it up. But you’re
right, the silver lining is some of our youngsters got some
serious exposure this year. Hopefully the powers that be can do
a better job of managing the club moving forward. I’m not
holding my breath, mind.

Yep. Staples and Schmid are very highly rated too.

Kolade has also had game time. And although injured a lot this
season, Waghorn and Cleaves are still in the youngster category.
We've had a poor season in terms of results. But I've been
saying for some time that I'm more optimistic about the next two
seasons, and probably more so than anyone on this board. The
players mentioned, in addition to the likes of Dombrandt, Smith,
Green, Furbank, Petti, Treadwell and a handful of others (I
won't list them all), give me a huge amount of confidence. Next
season will be about developing, toughening, and in some cases,
bulking up. I'd be happy if we win more than we lose; not
expecting top 4 although it would be nice. The following season
is when I see us being serious contenders, IF we retain the
majority of these players (and sort out the S&C side of things).
This has been the first year of my own 3 year plan :)

I can't remember but if the Senior Mgt have been around long
enough they will remember lessons learned from relegation and
not growing after winning the title. Won't they?
