I went yesterday and had a great time ,team really looked good
for the first time in a long while.it was a great experience for
many of the younger players who contributed to a fantastic
result for us . Around where I was sat there was people really
enjoying themselves ( unless they were Exeter supporters, even
though they did seem to be having a great time till half time ).
I’m also a season ticket holder who prefers the stoop but you
can’t deny the club do but on a good day out at the big stoop.

There has been discussions about Brighton next year. Personally
not adverse to this as a one off as it is Quins catchment area,
new stadium which isn’t huge. Summer weekend down on the south
coast which from London is pretty easy to get to. (Not ideal for
me travel wise but I’m just one supporter)

I really hope not. Brighton is a dump and not somewhere I'd want
to spend time pre or post match. They surely can't include a
home game in your season ticket that you have to travel to.
They'd have to give you the option of a refund

And no doubt will make it the pride game to max out the tickets,
       great marketing idea
But not so great for STH

I for one will not be going to Brighton and think most other
sths will feel the same and would want reimbursement for that
       game.

Certainly at Xmas, I don't believe this to be true. It's more
about getting the family out to do something after Xmas (though
this year isn't it before Xmas?).
I don't believe there are 40,000 uncommitted rugby fans sitting
round London saying "if Quins are playing well, I'll buy a
ticket to BSKO. Otherwise I'll not bother". Which is why I asked
the original question, has the ship sailed for a second "Big
Game"? One for the market research people, I suspect. But it
doesn't have the unique selling point a match at Xmas does.

The Christmas game is really the only one we need, at least for
now. The period between Xmas and new year is perfect to get the
friends and family along (Who might not even be massively into
rugby) hence why its always near sold out. For the BSKO that
situation isn't present so really to go there would have to be a
better draw for the rugby side of things. I suspect if we were
chasing the playoffs and it was a must win game, and marketed
well, that would have added another 5-10k easily I reckon. Most
in general would prefer a game at the Stoop, even if our HQ
record is actually very good...I still think there is maybe a
place for this fixture but the buzz around the club needs to
come back first (The inaugural fixture followed the season we
won the title so at least had that riding the crest of the wave
       feeling).

If there is a Brighton game, it'll be hard for a lot of STHs to
make that. I probably wouldn't go as it would be at least two
and a half hours each way journey.

I think at the very least if the club move a fixture 50+ miles
away from the ground you've purchased a ST at, the club should
put on complementary coaches from the ground to Brighton for ST
       holders.
