The problem with using absolutes like "never" is that you have
to be sure you're right.
June 21 to 23 2024 Taylor Swift was at Wembley
June 20 & 22 2024 Foo Fighters were at the Olympic Stadium

We just received a letter through the post. The RFU is wanting
to increase the capacity to 75k.
Initially, mid-week events will be fewer people but will expand

Just say yes! I'm sure the Swifties wouldn't pee in your front
garden.

While not impossible, it is highly unlikely and generally
avoided by police and local authorities for Wembley Stadium and
Twickenham (Allianz Stadium) to host major, maximum-capacity
events simultaneously.Major events at both stadiums on the same
day put massive strain on transport networks, security
resources, and policing.
I said Wembley and Twickenham not London Stadium, the Safety
advisory group has stated the above.

Hooker? Someone had to say it...

I was going to ask who she'll be playing for, but I guess only
Sarries could afford her and stay under the cap...

"Not impossible", "highly unlikely" and "generally avoided" are
not never.
Jeez, this Saturday it's BSKO and the FA Cup final at the same
time. If the Met knew back in July that ticket sales for BSKO
were going to be shocking they probably should have told Quins.

Concerts would not happen.

I'm not against the expansion - and, I live on the other side of
the stadium - so the anti social aspects don't affect me.
I think we just need the RFU to present a better plan than they
did - i.e. a plan with a little bit of substance; an
appreciation of the practical difficulties surrounding their
proposal; and some actual countermeasures.
Sticking up a few signs directing people to train stations is
not a realistic countermeasure.
