What I’m more interested in seeing is the replacements, I’ve not
really heard any rumours since Gilmore appointment. But so far
we will lose 2 key coaches and need 1 more for defence.

Indeed, the hope is that there is some type of recruitment plan,
rather than the ad hoc recruitment of coaches of the last few
years.
Let’s hope that it has all been put in place and just waiting
for the end of season to be revealed.

Each time we appoint a head coach, we could tell them they have
until the current PM is fired to get the club winning. Some
times, they might get a few weeks, other times up to two years.
You never know, so it'd keep them on their toes.

I've seen us linked with Martin Gleeson to fill one of those
gaps

I seem to remember reporting of an assistant defence coach being
appointed for next season, with Gilmore supervising.

This is a forum for supporters of the club to discuss the club.
Literally nothing we say will change anything. It's not about
what good it will do, or what harm it will do. It's about a
group of people who support the club identifying and discussing
what they see as going wrong with it.

What I don’t understand is why Gleason would voluntarily leave
Bath to come to us. Apart from being a bigger challenge I don’t
see what would make him leave Bath.

When I spoke with Lawrie he did say someone would be coming in
specifically for defence

They hired him as a stop gap after Blackett left for England and
they’re bringing in Mike Prendergast full time

Context matters. It was also the suddenness of the departure,
leaving insufficient time to prepare/make other arrangements.
