Trying to do a rough man for man comparison
I'd say most of your pack is better than NRBs - except maybe not
at 2 and 7. Murley v Wade is pretty close - albeit with
different skillsets. 9 is also a close call.
At 15 and the other wing they may have an edge but if Marcus has
any aspirations he should be the point of difference that puts
       you streets ahead

While both sides have been bad, I can see Newcastle targeting
this one as a winnable game, and they would be correct.

I'd like a game plan that is Marcus saying "right, we're going
to do this" and get on with it.
Agree re CCS in the back row. Hope Petti isn't badly injured as
he is definitely our most consistent player this season, and I
       think he supports Dommers well

We're looking do things on the ground for players! Good to see
the likes of Hobson, Williams and Driscoll getting a start.

Of course, we should be doing the same! (please!)

At least there is a high chance of Wade getting closer to
       Ashtons record theis week.......

Launchbury was very much patched up for the last game with the
shortage of second rows, he was in need of a shoulder op which I
believe he’s now had. If he was playing for another season he
wouldn’t have been risked v Sale

Thank you for posting this and setting the record straight, I
think it’s easy to forget that professional rugby players are
often playing with injuries and put their bodies through hell
over the course of a career.

Oh well, Glaws winning last night pretty much finishes any
chance we had for 8th then. What a shameful season.
