Cadan Murley in action for Harlequins
Harlequins have made six changes ahead of their Gallagher PREM
Round 15 tie against Newcastle Red Bulls at Kingston Park
(Sunday 10 May, KO 15:00 - live on TNT Sports & HBO Max).
Will Hobson retains his place at loosehead and he's joined in
the front row by Sam Riley - who crossed for a try against Sale
Sharks in Round 14, and Los Pumas international tighthead Pedro
Delgado on the tighthead side.
Kieran Treadwell and Elliot Williams both return to the engine
room for the trip to the North East, which sees Chandler
Cunningham-South shift to the blindside.
Senior Academy talent Seb Driscoll has been named on the
openside to face the Red Bulls, with Alex Dombrandt continuing
to skipper the side at number 8.
Lucas Friday and Marcus Smith continue to combine in the
halfbacks, with Bryn Bradley and Luke Northmore also lining up
in the centres once more.
Quins' solitary change to the backline comes on the left wing as
Cadan Murley returns to the starting XV. Cameron Anderson
retains his place on the right and Jamie Benson will once again
start at full-back.
England Under-20 hooker Jimmy Staples is set to make his
Gallagher PREM debut when introduced. He's joined by the
returning Boris Wenger and fellow England Under-20 teammate
Ollie Streeter as front row options.
Jonny Green, Jack Kenningham and Will Evans will provide further
cover to the pack.
Will Porter returns from injury for the trip to Kingston Park
for his first appearance since January, while Sean Kerr
completes the matchday squad.

I see no reason to think Quins will do anything other than lose
this one. We are putting out a patchwork side and are away from
home on a plastic pitch. And how on earth can Launchbury be
unavailable again?

Presumably, Launchbury has checked out (so to speak). Looks like
maybe he only popped in for the last match for his farewell
adulation. I didn't see him do anything while he was on the
pitch.

I like CCS in the back row. It gives us the punch we sometimes
don't have. And I'm very glad Murley is back. I do think we have
the talent to win this. I'm just not completely sure we're
together enough or have a gameplan. If we lose this, it would be
a fair way to bring our season towards an end, but it would
still be disgraceful.

I'm surprised if we win anything these days. But as that doesn't
happen much, I am rarely surprised.
I think we've got a 50-50 chance this time.

I still think we should win this, although I can't commit to
saying I think we will. If we lose I'd suggest it will be a
mental issue.
