Wales prop Tuipulotu signs for Harlequins

Harlequins have signed Wales international prop Sisilia
Tuipolotu from Gloucester-Hartpury for the 2026-27 season.
The 22-year-old has won three consecutive Prem Women's Rugby
titles with the Circus.
Tuipolotu has scored 20 tries in 67 appearances for
Gloucester-Hartpury since her debut in 2021 and has been capped
33 times by her country, appearing in two World Cups.
"I'm really excited to be joining Harlequins. I'm excited for
the experience, to meet the team and learn from even more
world-class players," she said.
"I can't wait to get going in the quarters."
Gloucester-Hartpury are top of the PWR table, with 70 points
from 14 games, as they chase a fourth straight title. Harlequins
sit sixth with 37 points.

Sisilia is a good signing and will add some power to the pack,
but with the quality of the young props coming through the
pathway such as Ruby Winstanley and Zara Green, I wonder if this
means that one of the senior tightheads will be retireing or
leaving.

She seems to be a impact player at GH, so perhaps coming to us
to be starter, and play 60 minutes rather than the 20 she gets
at GH.
