Brighton are talking of spending £60m on a 10,000 seater stadium
for their Women's side.
So, I would not aim at 25,000 seats until I thought there was a
hope of filling them.
You want to build a stadium with 10,000 seats to meet the MOS,
mainly on the side opposite the TV facilities, so it looks full
on the box - with space to expand on the other side when and if
you get people coming.

I was thinking more of an indoor stadium that you could use for
other events, a multi use stadium like that would be very
popular in London.
Also if we built a stadium or redeveloped the stoop we would
look at 20/30k capacity, so that we did not need to use the big
stoop anymore.
Building a new rugby stadium even a 10k one, for a new franchise
that would only be used perhaps 15 to 20 times a year does not
make sense, which is why Ealing have not done it.

I was referencing your contention regarding STHers getting
annoyed if new fans benefit and they don't; deadly's suggestion
falls foul of that, ergo it's covered by your objection. I was
also not being entirely serious.

yep fair enough, like I said before I think grassroots needs the
most help but I have no real idea what would actually help

If anyone does, I hope they’re advising the RFU.
IMO, a decent start would be to remove the constriction of
leagues for lower level clubs and facilitate friendlies.

That thing flying over your head - it's the point that was being
made. That point was that you shouldn't simply take your
existing customer base for granted. Your+ implication was along
the lines of "they're already a customer, so we don't need to
care about them". IMO that's wrong, but feel free to tell me why
you don't need to give a damn about customer retention.

Eureka! Anybody who buys an International ticket gets a couple
of free beer vouchers and a seat at the pre match nosh up at any
participating grassroots club or just some free beer/stuff at a
Prem club.
