There was some fight today and some good bits, lovely tries but
there was a lot of rubbish as well.
The injury list is quite farcical but the basics and handling
errors killed momentum so often. I just hope there’s a
realisation that there’s a huge amount of work to do on the
coaching and signing front. Looked very invitational XV at times
today.

I'd bring in a 12, a hooker, and maybe a prop.
Other than that I'd stick with primarily existing and home grown
players.
I would focus more on the S&C team, and maybe find a new
training centre.
We could bring in 15 Springboks and All Blacks - if we can't
keep them fit, if they get injured in training, we'll be where
we are now.

So that’s 3 coming in and another 3 you are hoping for. I’d
agree with you, that’s should be enough. If you listen to what
Gilmore said, it doesn’t sound like that’s what we are going to
get. And that’s my problem as I can’t see how the current
squad, including the confirmed signings to date, gets us
anywhere near competitive enough for top 6, let alone the title.

Let me clear, I’ll be amazed if we bring in a 12 after my Laurie
chat. Club holds both Bryn and Ben In high regard

It doesn’t matter who comes in from a playing perspective. It
won’t make a material difference. The character of this squad is
a problem and 2 or 3 players won’t change that. The coaching is
a problem and 2 or 3 players won’t change that. Tactics are a
problem, player retention is a problem, S & C is a problem. None
of that will be solved by adding a handful of players.

It’s rotten. Years of terrible tactics, coaching and recruitment
are coming home to roost. Serious change is needed from the top
to the bottom but that’s a pipe dream. I encourage you all to
vote with your feet.

Don’t show up if you don’t want to, but we’ve been bang average
to crap with a couple of brief moments of greatness for the
nearly 20 years I’ve been going (which I realise is less than a
lot on here).
I did enjoy the shorter beer queues and more space during the
Kingston era but generally I’d say not showing up when they’re
rubbish is..a different approach to being a supporter of a team.

Not blaming the ref for the loss but I've seen him do a few Prem
cup games and don't think he is yet up to Premiership standard -
needs to work on his hand signals 🤦

The implication that I’m less of a supporter because I’m not
blindly falling in line is hilarious. You do it your way though,
that’s your choice.

It's only enough if they're of the required quality. If we make
three further signings (in addition to Furbank and Dun) then
they all need to be high quality and improve our starting XV. My
fear is we've left recruitment too late.

I broadly agree with FishQuin, in that the main issue or issues
that need sorting are ones related to the top two inches, from
both the coaching and players, but largely the players. We have
a team that just doesn't relish enough doing the non-fancy
stuff.
