As dreadful as we've been this season I think it's taken a fair
bit of heat off other sides, Sale included. Sale have the same
number of league wins as us, and Glaws have one fewer.
Haven't been watching but that is also a monster performance by
Saracens, who are going to need a lot of those to get out of mid
table mediocrity.

The difference, I think, is that until January we lost a few by
less than a score and looked semi-competitive in most games.
Since the 6N we have thrown in the towel

One of the problems of a 10 team league is that teams after a
bad start have very little to play for, very early in the
season.
Ourselves Sale and Gloucester, all got there very quickly and
have produced similar results, Sanderson is now alienating his
team with his comments on TNT.

Quins lack of bonus points have really undermined us this
season. Only 3 bonus points is really poor.

Yet Ashton says it's on the players to motivate themselves and
they can't expect the coaches to do it for them.
Anyway, as Yareet alluded to - a big difference between us and
Sale is that we've spent most of the season playing like jessies
and getting humiliated, and that has nothing to do with a 10
team league.

Can't believe Sanderson basically accused his players of not
caring, and that TNT said the same. I hope LD is sending them a
sternly worded letter.

Sale got hit for 60+ earlier in the season by Saracens, conceded
77 to Toulouse, 85 today, and a few other less hefty but still
big defeats in there.
We've been worse, sure, which is my point. They've dodged a lot
of criticism for a frankly appalling season.

I'd say a few other things have undermined us more!
