I imagine LD agreeing to a sit down with an activist majorly
negative "fan" was something of an exercise in taking the heat
       off by lancing the boil.
Ultimately, what did we learn? Square root of naff all tbh.

I thought it was interesting that the TNT commentary team was
hitting all the same talking points.

I think it’s clear I am a fan going to the lengths I have tbf.
Maybe TNT been reading here ;)

I suspect it's just the party line that's been going out
       recently!

Wow, this comment got reported? For abuse of a member of
       harlequins staff?
Come on now, can we all be grown ups?

Thanks for going MQ and for providing the update. I agree with
you that LD is a very different kettle of fish to Dave Ellis in
       the positive sense.
I’m marginally reassured by his comments but not terribly. The
proof will be in the pudding next season. Injuries are one thing
but we’ve had a quite ridiculous run of them (again) and
questions have to be asked of S&C. That pitches are so far below
       standard is quite unbelievable.
There’s no way anyone can argue the recruitment has been
       positive either.
I’m glad they understand the frustration but there will need to
be some improvements soon or we’ll be back here again very
       quickly.

Nobody is saying you are NOT a "fan". Some are saying you are
the biblical equivalent of a Job's comforter. OK, not some, me.

I've always really liked LD as a man and as an advocate for the
club - I do genuinely believe he wants the club to succeed and
off the pitch he's seemingly set us on a course to a sustainable
financial footing. The guy deserves a lot of credit.
But my main question on the backing of Gilmore is this:
What happens if we get spanked for the remainder of this season
and lose the fight we showed in Bath this weekend? Knowing the
Quins of this season as we do, that's quite a plausible scenario
       - and it would surely make more than just Gilmore's position
start to look untenable just as he's been given a public
long-term backing... Unless the owners are expecting us to lose
every remaining game handsomely? And if that's the level of
ambition, that explains a lot about why Quins have never backed
       up a Prem trophy.
