I’m not gonna lie, only read half of it. Ran out of time. I’ll
pick the rest up later. But I’m seriously concerned by most of
his responses. Clearly he has no grasp of quite how bad the
situation is. Hugely disappointing. I’m not convinced this club
is going to turn the corner any time soon. What a waste of the
       Marcus era!

Good effort MQ, pretty much covered the major complaints.
       Howeverrrrrrrr...
LD's responses are well thought out and convincing. Sort of.
They are the responses you'd expect from someone at the helm of
a team that keeps failing to make top 4 or something - generally
good but not living up to the expected standard. What we've had
for much of the last 2 seasons has been an absolute horror show,
with the team looking barely professional at times. This is a
dismal run of appalling performances, and I think it's a bit
rich that he repeatedly alluded to online comments making
accusations that the players don't care while failing to
acknowledge that is what it looks like on the pitch, time and
       time again.
The only substantive excuse he gave was injuries, and while
they've been bad I don't think it holds up to scrutiny as the
primary reason why we've been so, so bad so often. Even when
we've had most of our players available for a stretch, we've
       been rubbish.
I don't disagree with him on the pipeline, the future talent,
and most of the comments about recruitment (though he's really
gambling if he thinks Bryn and Ben are the 12 pairing to bank
on, given one's utterly unproven and the other breaks in a stiff
breeze). But I do think you got a very slick set of responses
that completely ignore the elephant in the room and make him
seem almost wilfully ignorant about how bad things have been. I
don't really know what set of questions from someone outside the
club would have persuaded him to be a bit more honest, but this
fundamentally left me more concerned about the near future than
before I read it. I hope to be wrong!

LD always comes across well and seems a decent man - however
does he really know rugby inside out - I have doubts....

Genuinely intrigued by thinking that he’s not a rugby person. Is
it just because he came from football?

Probably just that empirical evidence has shown him to be
completely incompetent and devoid of any rugby knowledge.

So playing rugby, watching rugby and genuinely being a fan of
rugby mean you have no rugby knowledge?

I can assure you LD is a rugby man. It’s not like grabbing in
Peter Jones off the dragons den as CEO, having met him he’s a
solid guy who’s a quins fan.
Let’s see how next season goes.

Completely agree. From the half dozen or so interactions I’ve
had with him, whatever your description of a rugby person is, LD
       fits it.

For me, his answers weren't entirely convincing. However, he
obviously can't share any confidential information or start
ripping into his employees publicly, so his answers were always
       going to be incomplete.
As others have commented, I'm so impressed he took the time to
speak to MQ and for me that is evidence alone of how highly he
regards the fans and cares about the club.
I'm prepared to fully back the new set up over the next couple
of years and hope for the best!
