Again, not sure what I'm meant to be respecting. Am I being
disrespectful because I think he was an appalling DoR? Why?
And again, he didn't lead the charge on Taliban positions in
Lashkar Gar, he coached a rugby club. So my point is the people
telling me I can't criticise Kingston just because he worked at
the club for ages are the ones who maybe need some perspective.
He's a bloke who did a job he was paid for at a commercial
organisation and when he got the top job, he wasn't just
average, he led the club into crisis. If it was a shareholder
based organisation I'd have been leading calls for him to be
sacked and to withhold his reward package -- but it wouldn't
have meant I didn't "respect" him. It's a job. I'm a customer.
He did his job badly.
I don't agree that we were just a bit rubbish for a couple of
seasons -- there would not have been the booing and leaving the
Stoop if we just weren't performing. Nor would Brown say he'd
only been happy when he was away from Quins for two years.

That's a deeply disingenuous response.
You called him a "useless club destroyer". That's more than just
criticism, and it's well over the top, as well as completely
inaccurate.
No-one is telling you you can't criticise him - just that you're
being a bit of a knob and your criticism has passed over into
abuse. Have a look at yourself.

I’m looking. He’s not reading it. Abuse is abusing someone.
Writing that I think Kingston was utterly useless and nearly
destroyed the club is not.
That’s how bad he was.
Even more laughable is the idea we all have to owe him respect.
I have zero respect for him because he was useless as a DoR -
and while you don’t think the club was nearly destroyed - I do.
The team didn’t function and worse still didn’t appear to try on
a number of occasions. The dressing room was clearly split and
senior players are now publicly revealing they hated it and it
was awful.
We all have different opinions, that’s mine.
Don’t mind anyone disagreeing and would happily hear claims that
he wasn’t useless backed up by some kind of argument but the
moral high horse response rubbish is totally ludicrous.
It’s a rugby forum for gods sake.

I think you're over-egging it Blucher. There was a slight
improvement in his first season and it was only the second half
of last season that was abysmal. Remember, we'd won 5 from 10
this time last year in the league, compared to 4 from 10
currently. Right now all that Gustard has shown is that the
defence has improved - how do you rate him?

Oh no, how terrible. The players who frequently put in sub
standard performances didn't enjoy it. Well, what a disaster,
that's the club totally destroyed...
Oh wait, hang on! We didn't:
Get relegated
Lose a ton of money
Lose a ton of fans
Lose a ton of players
Lose our ground
or anything meaningful except lose a bunch of matches and play
like fannies for a few seasons. Destroyed the club? Don't be
pathetic.

Yeah and maybe slagging off a guy saying he doesn't deserve any
respect when he put in years and years of high quality work for
the club including during our best ever season is more suited to
twitter than a rugby forum.

No coach would give his first choice 15 no game time in Nov if
he intended on starting him

Don`t follow that argument at all. I my opinion, for what it`s
worth, Jones knows everything he needs to know about Mike Brown
and is investigating his options.

Again - people are judged by results when they’re paid for a job
in a commercial environment.
If rugby was amateur, I’d admire him for his “service”, it’s not
- he got paid, he failed.
It’s my choice to not respect him, I’m sure he couldn’t care -
the reactions on here are like I said he fiddled with kids.
Strange how suddenly now he’s gone everyone on here is a massive
JK fan.
Guess we’ll forever disagree.

No, the reactions are what one would expect to someone so bitter
and twisted about what happened last season. I find it quite
bizarre, but as you said - it's your choice.
