Daly showed consistently in the AI's that he's vulnerable under
the high ball. International coaches will have observed that and
will target that aspect in the World Cup. When the pressure is
on I think Eddie will opt for the stability, experience and
confidence that Mike brings to the team.

Until the Australia game I thought Daly was poor in the AIs,
especially in defence but also in attack.
Interesting to hear what Mike has to say about Quins during the
last 2 years. Pleased to see things have changed

Personally believe MB will be starting in Japan and Eddy is
trying to give himself options and using the autumn
internationals to blood some good back up to MB. If MB not
involved for that I would be very surprised and Eddy would need
his head examined.

Daily Mail piece with MB contains the most damning verdict on
the utter shambles of horror that was the leadership of that
useless club destroyer Kingston......
'The last two years have been awful - I wasn't enjoying it at
all,' he added.
'My missus will tell you I moaned about it. I don't want to rely
on going away with England to enjoy my rugby.
'Now I feel like I'm genuinely getting better as a player,
genuinely able to express myself in games, in training.
'Training is so much better in terms of trying stuff, learning
and then being able to transfer that on to the field.

That useless club destroyer did a lot of great work at this
club. Whatever his problems were as the guy in charge, he
deserves a bit more respect than yet more abuse from some
internet hard nut.

Yes, agreed. He gave 17 years to the club and was an excellent
forwards coach, promoted beyond his ability / comfort zone. The
blame lies with those that appointed JK to the position rather
than the man himself.
David Ellis stated at the last meet the CEO evening that they
had engaged auditors to go through all the processes of the club
as things weren't right. If they are having to do that, the man
at the top should fall on his sword, not necessarily those that
he has appointed.
Last season in particular, the rugby was a disaster but that
doesn't mean that the man in charge of the rugby is the one in
the wrong

Surely this is a contradiction though? The man in charge of the
rugby is definitely ultimately responsible for the quality of
the rugby.
I shook Kingston's hand during the lap of honour on his last
game, and thanked him for his contributions to the club over his
many loyal years, but he was, unfortunately, responsible for the
decline last season.

No, I don't think it is a contradiction. I think he'd still be
at the club if he had stayed as forwards coach. Being promoted
to DoR was the wrong move for JK as many said at the time
