       Lots of us in there:
Pasifika players putting themselves out there, Laumape
       recommended to us.
Gleeson into replace NEv, S&C under review.
       Kpoku potentially capped by France.

Ngani Laumape would be an opportunistic signing. At 32, you
could argue he's not the right age profile, but we need muscle
in the midfield and he could be a decent short-term stop gap.
You'd also like to think the likes of Waghorn and Bradley could
       learn a lot from him.

Bet we don't recruit anyone. Instead, we give Joe Launchbury a
new five year deal and add James Haskell to the team.

But! It's really unfortunate that Moana Pasifika are folding.
Could World Rugby not have found a way to keep them going?

More to do with the endless, bring team into super rugby,
discard team from super rugby unless they are from New Zealand
       or Australia.
       Japan, Argentina , South Africa.
Also most of the Moana Pasifika players are born in New Zealand.

Looks as though he'd re-signed for Hurricanes before the
       Pasifika contract

So possibly more 'he'd be a good fit' than anything
       substantial...

Launchbury has retired. So we’re safe on that one.

He’d be an outstanding signing, international class 12 who’s
been plating in Japan so hasn’t had the physical workload
recently. Also (just) 33 isn’t that old for a player who has
looked after themselves / got lucky with injuries.
       1+1 contract would be perfect

I liked him when he was tearing it up a decade ago but he's a
long, long way from international class these days and given
he's even bigger now I'm not sure he has looked after himself. 3
starts for Pasifika this season isn't much to write home about.
Having said that I'm sure he'd still be a real handful, he's
just not quite as good as you remember
