Men's Injury Update: April 2026

Harlequins can provide an injury update ahead of Round 13 of the
Gallagher PREM as the Quarters travel to the West Country to
take on Bath Rugby at the Recreation Ground on Saturday 18th
April (KO 17:30).
FORWARDS
Joe Launchbury (Quad return date: Short-term)
Harry Browne (Hamstring return date: Short-term)
Pedro Delgado (Knee return date: Short-term)
Jonny Green (Calf return date: Short-term)
Harry Williams (Neck return date: Short-term)

Must be Hobson & Streeter to start. Joe Jones (injury cover) &
AN other on the bench unless any of the short terms means fit by
Saturday.
Back 3 also looking thin, probs Anderson, David & Murley to
start unless Smith gets moved to 15

We have no senior LH Props
TH - Williams + Hobson
But - Hobson can play both sides
Academy:
LH : Ethan Clarke (21 year old) + Jamie Miller (19)
TH : Ollie Streeter (19) + Sam Bland (18)
Maybe we will see Williams + Hobson start
Streeter + Clarke on the bench
We will get mullered!

About half the senior squad out!
At least for next season, something this bad can't happen again,
but on the other hand there's technically nothing stop that
happening...
Do other clubs get close to this?

I suspect that one of the centres (Northmore, Hyde, Bradley,
Kerr) will move to wing and David will cover FB
Although - Connor Slevin is in the academy and could start at
FB. He is a FH - but I think he sometimes played FB for England
U20s

We drastically reduced our squad size at the end of last season.
Maybe in hindsight that was a bit of a mistake.

Is this not a pretty common theme at this end of the season for
us? Even allowing for a hefty slice of (bad) luck, I would be
asking some probing questions of the strength and conditioning
team.
