It could be an interesting W6N. Ireland have some of their best
players back, Italy are building on their youth, Scotland have a
new coach and seemingly a better relationship with the SRU,
Wales actually have a full coaching team for the first time
ever, and France have a coach who has given their best club side
a good balance of structure and flair.
That said, given that every other team I support has been dire
so far in 2026, I am rather hoping the Red Roses can hold it
       together.

Ireland are interesting but their pack will struggle to stay
with England, but should be giving France problems
Scotland have lost Caity Mattinson, Lisa Cockburn and Jade
Konkel all retired and Anne Young, Sarah Bonar, Evie Gallagher,
Lisa Thomson and Fran McGhie, who are all injured, so may
       struggle'
Wales have a couple of players who have really only played in
the celtic challange and Bucs, and seem to believe that Sean
Lynn is the answer to all of there problems, when he is actually
       one of them.
Italy should be much better than they are.
France are unbeatable at u18 and u20, but the players never seem
to come through to senior level, new coach may help but too
early as of yet, and the French league is not the PWR.

As ever, the Roses’ team looks formidable. And that’s without
(deep breath) Stratford, Ward, Galligan, Atkin-Davis, Heard and
       Botterman
