Post-Sale 'Dispatches...' and some talking points

New 'Dispatches' out now. I wrote this after re-watching and
after calming down from being in the stands on Saturday.
In short:
- key moments disproportionately impacted this game more than
many others (from Sir at times, but also from ourselves).
- we failed to act on how the breakdown was officiated - and
that hurt us more than Sale (stats in there about jackal
frequency and style).
- you can't please everyone with selection

I might take a hit for not being negative enough. Happy to be
convinced otherwise if anyone feels that I'm talking rubbish
though.
Feedback and contributors welcome as always.
All the best and COYQ!
Aaron

So season over and Gilmour says we have 6 games to see which
players want to fight for the team - surely he'd know that by
now 🤔

You'd have thought so! I'm interested to see the levels of
commitment and grit now we are really really close to dead
rubber territory...(I suppose Euro Champs Cup Qual is a carrot)

I imagine there will be some worried conversations RE the BSKO
this week. Ticket sales all time low for that, with very little
incentive for there to be a sudden surge such as if we built on
the Bristol result and got a string of good performances under
our belt.

I agree the referee was absolutely appalling, one of the worst I
have seen this season.Team selection was baffling to say the
least also during the game when Northmore went off with a HIA.
We didn’t starting looking dangerous until CCS and Kenningham
came on. I really fear that next season is going to be even
worse unless we recruit well and Deans can make a difference.

It’s all waffle now “ Who wants to fight for their place
Was interesting to read in TRP that Nick Cainput the performance
at Bristolgame down to contract renewals. If that was truly the
case then the fighting has been done

If a club is negotiating contract renewals in March, they've
left things a little late

Yet more nonsense messaging from Gilmour. No talk on wanting to
win every remaining game because they want to win / for the
fans. Instead we're drifting into a 6 month pre-season. He
really doesn't talk a good game and there's little evidence his
coaching is any better than his PR

Assuming delayed due to no HC, etc
