"Indeed, the IRFU are understood to be tracking Irish-qualified
out-half Jamie Benson, who came through the Harlequins system.
Again, it’s an area where Munster and Ulster need
       reinforcements."
Say it ain't so, Jamie. Or get as much money as you can when you
       can.

He has been in the England A squad, but not played.

He is more of a Borthwick type 10, similar to Fin Smith but has
a higher ceiling as he has a running game (my opinion of course)
that stands him out. A canon of a boot as well.
With jEV going, hopefully that tells him that he has a place
       here more regularly.

This is a ridiculous statement - he's only recently started
appearing semi-frequently (and not even that regularly) for
Quins in the Prem/Champs Cup, so to suggest he's been in some
way mistreated by England management is more than a tad OTT.

I think that was messed about by England, not Quins.

He was at university so was playing in blue, or blood and sand,
not the quarters. Then he did his knee.
So it is only this season he has been fully available.

There have been numerous players messed about by England, taken
into camp for 6 nations never used. Or sat on bench until 4 mins
from whistle. Yes Benson is only starting is rugby career, but
can see him being treated the same as A few others, I actually
rate him highly and will replace Marcus when he heads to France.

Ireland also have fly halves who are miles ahead of him in
       regard to international exposure
       Prendergast (age 23)
       Frawley (age 28)
       Harry Byrne (age 26)
       Crowley (age 26)
It’s not like when Billy Burns was suddenly fast tracked through
       with a lack of options.
Joey Carberry is also heading back to Ireland (age 30)
