       I didn't realise so many fans were as grouchy as me. It warms
       the heart.

       So, the question is - bearing in mind the rubbish performances
       we have been putting out, how much would they have been willing
       to pay ? £10?? I suspect that they would have to be seriously
       cheap to have convinced you to buy them. From memory, mine only
       cost 40 odd quid. The ticket is not expensive compared to the
       other money I will spend on beer and curry

       Just a personal view but I think in the context of the
       performances and the timing they could have priced them a bit
       more competitively.
       Around me on the 22 you're looking at £77 full price apart from
       the first couple of rows. That's not a small chunk of change and
       even behind the sticks you're looking at £55-60. We've obviously
       been selling out until recently at those prices so can see why
       they went for it, but I sense that's the limit of what people
       are willing to pay in the good times. If they were £10-£15
       cheaper (i.e. about the same as the ST discount) I think I could
       get more family and friends to go.

       Two of my friends are in the cheap seats like me and would have
       coughed up the 48quid if the team were performing better. The
       other two who are in more expensive areas said it was too higher
       price at £80 ish I think. They still thought £60 was more than
       the game was worth just buying tickets full stop. £45 would have
       been acceptable. It’s not a case of being affordable, it’s the
       value you’re getting.

       I think that mainly (sorry to generalise) people either can't go
       because the timing is rubbish;
       Or can't go as they can't afford it;
       Or aren't going as a protest against the team/club.
       These reasons are all fine.
       But - the guys who are not going as a protest should own their
       reasoning and if (big if - but lets hope) Quins go and win the
       trophy, they shouldn't start blaming the non-attendance of this
       game on other reasons.

       I wouldn't have thought too many people were protesting
       unilaterally against the club. It might explain the attendances
       for the PRC games, though.
