But people have the Monday off?
And as for the hysterical shouts about the club being "greedy" I
would point out that "the Club" and us the fans are actually on
the same side. We both want funds to invest in the team don't
we? Its not like Quins is a money machine for the owners.

the club has become from real supporters. I am an ex season
ticket holder who went to all games come rain, or shine,
including when we were in the championship. I now pick one, or
two games a year to go to.

It wasn’t the club that decided the time and day of the game.
That was EPRC and the TV companies. Apparently it was first
scheduled for 8 pm Sunday. The blame for this all lies with EPRC
for scheduling the games over Easter and working with the TV
companies to have some some ridiculous scheduling on the
weekend. I’ll be at the game but it’s a seriously inconvenient
time and, although I live reasonably locally it’ll be 11.30
before I’m home as the trains become sparse late in the evening
(I get two trains). I understand those who live further away or
have kids giving the game a miss.
But don’t blame the club for the time and date.

I would've come if it were a more reasonable time, but even
driving it would be something like 12:30am before I got home. If
I'd gone by train, I would've had to stay overnight, and hope
that Easter Sunday trains work okay as well. Add in that we'll
be playing the same opposition three weeks later and you can see
why those of us who travel from further afield are less likely
       to attend on Saturday.

I don't think the price has anything to do with it.
The tickets are being sold at a fair price.
The issue is that most people can't get to a game at that time
       on an Easter Saturday.
If the tickets were 1/2 of the price, then I think we would have
sold the same number of tickets but just made half of the money.

Premier sports coverage is dire, you can understand how they
       lose money.

I don’t think their coverage is bad, actually like that it’s not
trying to be lads/lads banter all time, we’ll accept for when
       Goode is in commentary
But it’s a good point would have thought that with so many not
having prem sport more would go, currently looks like a prem cup
       game would have higher attendance

Several of my Quins supporting friends have said that they will
give the game a miss because of the price of tickets and the (
before Saturday) lacklustre team performances. Not because it’s
on Saturday night, but, they are all local.
