Team news: Four changes for Big Day Out
Harlequins have made four changes to face Bristol Bears ahead at
the Principality Stadium, Cardiff on Saturday (KO 15:30).
The Quarters travel to the Welsh capital to take on Bristol
Bears' as part of a huge PWR and Gallagher PREM double header -
the men's side have made two changes to both the forward pack
       and back line.
In the front row, Simon Kerrod continues at loosehead and Jack
Walker resumes duties at hooker. There is a PREM debut for
Harlequins at tighthead as Welshman Joe Jones is set to start at
       the Principality.
Elliot Williams comes into the engine room for his first
Gallagher PREM start too after starting all five of England
Under-20s 2026 Six Nations fixtures. The 18-year-old will
partner Kieran Treadwell in the engine room.
Williams' inclusion sees Guido Petti Pagadizábal shift to
blindside flanker, Jack Kenningham starts on the openside and
Alex Dombrandt continues to skipper the side from number 8.
Stu Townsend resumes duties at scrum-half, with Welshman Jarrod
       Evans named at fly-half.
Bryn Bradley starts at inside centre, with Cadan Murley's role
shifting to outside centre due to further injuries in the
       backline.
Nick David shifts to the left wing and Rodrigo Isgró is named on
the right, with Jamie Benson coming into the starting XV at
       full-back.
Jason Gilmore has opted for a six-two split on the bench as Will
Hobson, the returning Sam Riley and Pedro Delgado provide front
       row reinforcements.
Jonny Green and Zach Carr continue their finisher roles
       alongside Seb Driscoll.
Jack Grant is set to make his Gallagher PREM debut in the
Quarters when introduced in Cardiff with Sean Kerr completing
       the matchday 23.

That's either a really threadbare team, or (hopefully) the club
deciding to rest some players whilst giving valuable minutes to
       younger players.
There's no unavailable list here so it's hard to know what's
       happened to Waghorn, Friday, Tyrone...

Wrapping certain players in cotton wool ahead of Sale I'd say.

Oof, 60+ points. I understand why we're resting and protecting
players but I hope the experience doesn't set any of the younger
       guys back

       Man the lifeboats!
I've no issues with the selections though and it's great to see
Williams get his first premiership start.

That’s a disgusting team. Hope it’s put to the sword.

Waghorn just posted a photo on Instagram - so clearly had
surgery - presumably out for the season...

I assume Smith is having his mandatory post-6N rest week (after
all, all that sitting on the bench must have been exhausting).
Is Waghorn injured *again*, or is he being rested for next week?
I don't look at this team with any great faith, though shifting
Petti to 6 isn't a bad idea to beef up the pack.

Oh, for God's sake. He's a fantastic player, but he gets injured
       more often than Lewies.
