To quote Malcom Tucker, what an omnishambles.
I genuinely can't believe that the outcome is keeping Gilmore in
place. Has the board not watched us this season?!
As stated by others including The Kid below, the structure isn't
working and clearly Gatland and others felt they couldn't make
the changes needed.
The only hope is that we bring in some real proven talent for
next season, particularly in the front row, and that Hunter has
a point to prove and gets the pack firing on all cylinders
week-in, week-out. Not holding my breath on either front.

Maybe we are all missing the point
The board are not focussed the results on the pitch, after all
there is no relegation

Not sure that is correct Si.
The annual report says that the main risk to profit is the team
not performing well on the pitch.

I am starting to wonder about if the owners are seeking an exit,
the club has a reported debt of between £33m and £50m plus, we
are losing money each year, and the owners net worth is reported
as between £30m to £100m.
The ground is the main tangible asset and is owned by a sister
company of the club.
This looks like an appointment that would not cost any new owner
too much to terminate.
While the club won’t bankrupt the owners it would dent their
wealth and poor performance is highlighted as a financial risk.

Wholesale change rarely brings sustained success. This is a bit
more than minor tweaks. Above all, it gives clarity and
definition, both to the players and the management. It's not
easy when people's roles are very fuzzy around the edges.
The players are professionals, and should buy into what the
coaching team have in mind. My gut feeling is the continuous
changes in personnel is reflected in the playing style and
tactics. Now we will hopefully have consistency, and mostly
with coaches who know the players.
Deans is a strong pick. I think he'll bring more structure to
the setup.
The bottom line is the players. A good off season with no
sudden management changes, will allow them to focus with a
feeling stability.
My only concern is with the S&C team. We have far too many
injuries, and players are often out for months at a time, not
just weeks. Our squad is running very thin, and that's bad on
many levels.

We won the league after wholesale changes.

I'm sure in no way do the Argentinian players feel put off by
other members of their squad calling them "all a bit weird" and
calling them Argies.
It's hard to move to another country where you don't speak the
language well and fit in perfectly. I've done it at various
points. Kind of up to the squad to make them feel welcome and
accept they're going to be a bit different.

I think the Argies probably wouldn't care about being called
Argies but more appropriately I don't think the post was quoting
the player verbatim and was instead using his own preferred
nickname.

What name do you think they're given? And why do you think that?

Anyone got anything to substantiate any of this Tabai chatter? I
think I saw it mentioned by Fissler, but that’s about it.
I’ve seen it said that Gatland thought the job should be split
in two (DoR and HC) and when Quins weren’t willing to do that,
he ruled himself out. Seems far more plausible to me.
