Sorry but taking out the fact he inherited the mess, Gilmore was
defense coach and he was responsible for that prior to being
dumped into his current position. Our defense has been
absolutely appalling for the last two seasons, this really
doesn't instill confidence based on his current results of lack
of improvement, hope he gets better as so far its not set the
world alight. Happy with Rob but how is a long distance Robbie
really going to work, thats a tough ask? Very concerned for next
season now. Hope the assistant defense coach they bring in is
good. I guess we have a new 3 year plan now then :-)

Thoroughly disappointing.
The only good i can hope for out of this is that at least now we
have a decision, so hopefully can focus on some serious
recruitment for next season.
Although i fear it may already be too late.

Such an underwhelming announcement. Following the worldwide
search, they announced we are promoting from within. To
accentuate the positive, they have time to prepare for the new
season and with the promise of decent players from the academy,
I am expecting an improvement from this season and last season.

Ridiculous appointments. Performance director the other side of
the world who has been coaching in the ABs sabbatical league for
the last decade, Head Coach that has overseen our worst play in
the modern era (including the relegation year), and a Forwards
Coach that is only available because he was sacked after 4 games
as Chief's Head Coach.

As a Spurs fan as well as a Quins fan, this is as underwhelming
as the appointment of Igor Tudor. With all the international
rugby coaching talent available in the last few months, this is
not a good statement of intent.
