The guy is awful. He's responsible for our defence, which is
awful. He throws players under the bus. Completely uninspiring.
Players probably like him because they have it easy

If this is the extent of the coach search then it’s clear that
the owners and board have absolutely no ambition or clue in
general.
It’s utterly criminal the waste that is being made of such a
great club. We’ve seen clubs fall by the wayside and disappear
in recent years and those in charge at the moment seem to be
sleepwalking into an empty stadium and needing to cover
increasing losses.

Well.
It's not absolutely certain it would be a failing move, but it
really seems like the most likely way to bake in failure.
Gilmore was an unsuccessful defence coach in a bad setup and as
head coach in an emergency has failed to get the squad to show
up for him. I don't understand how is he being seriously
considered, let alone our best choice.
Very disappointing if true. This isn't an attempt to set up some
future "I told you so" - I'd dearly love to be wrong and it's
not like I'm saying anything different from practically everyone
else. But the club has to understand how bad this looks from the
outside. Add in the fact that we seem to have behaved poorly
when ditching Matson, the club is in danger of becoming
unmanageable.

To Jammy's point, if the club is unmanageable, then this will in
all likelihood be the last appointment Laurie Dalrymple will
make, because it'll be root and branch if (more likely when)
this fails.
Many of us (myself included) had thought Tabai was mistreated by
Billy Millard & Danny Wilson. Now we have it effectively
confirmed.

He's already overstayed his welcome, and I suspect its his
stewardship putting other candidates off
