As a FAN, that blows! I'm sure they will clean up all the good
players and hoover all the trophys up.
Apologies ;-)

As winners they had a deeper dive into their cap which they seem
to have passed.
I'm not naive enough to believe that all the clubs are
completely and totally above board but AFAIK, despite the
questions among fans, the powers that be seem to be happy with
what Bath are doing.
Which is very different to the Sarries situation

Yes. A bigger question is why is Dyson taking this share and
what makes it an attractive proposition for him.

What makes Sale an attractive proposition for Simon & Michelle
Orange? What made Exeter an attractive proposition for Rowe?

Combined with Dyson is getting on a bit and literally has more
money than he knows what to do with. I wonder if the new stadium
will be the Dyson stadium or similar.
James Dyson could buy every club in the country - or the world -
fund them for a decade and it would still be noise on the bottom
line of his accounts.

You can't say that! There is a blatant contradiction in
Trademarks!

Rowe joined Exeter's board back in the 90s before there was any
money to be made from rugby and has given a huge part of his
life to the club. Simon and Michelle Orange are old-school
missionaries trying to bring the light of civilised rugby to the
league heartlands.
I don't think billionaires like Dyson have hobbies like normal
people, though, and everything is transactional for him; him
buying 50% of a club already bankrolled by an extremely rich
backer is concerning to me. Maybe I'm wrong. But then it's not
like Craig hasn't been one of the key people trying to bend the
finances of the sport in a way that would allow finances to
dictate success, so...

Perhaps he will take Bath out of Europe and outsource the team
to Asia!

We’ll have even more shots of him and Bruce Craig together
during every break in play on TNT then….
