Rumoured to be a 10 week contract and working remotely from New
Zealand… he’s a fantastic coach but just what is the point in
that?

Where do you get remotely from?
Telegraph exclusive says 10 week rolling contract but doesn’t
suggest it isn’t an actual role at the stoop.

Maybe Deans has asked for the 10 weeks and if he likes what he
sees will come in
But can’t see him being H C And with Nev moving back to NZ,
I’m struggling to see the positives
Unless Deans is going to appoint the head coach from within as
part of his “ Consulting role”

i can't read the full article, but from the snipped, the NZ
herald seem to imply Robertson is still an option.

All a bit strange as at the State of play, I got the impression
from LD that all was pretty much a done deal (whoever the deal
is with) as he said an announcement would be very
soon........from this continuing speculation it appears not,
unless the club have been very careful with 'who knows what'

I’m very confused by all these responses - the telegraph article
is pretty clear that Deans in charge and it’s likely to be on a
rolling contract.
Again, no mention at all of doing it via Zoom.

a 10 week rolling contract hardly screams "stability". article
also states we are still looking at other coaches.
LD has stated the need for a long terms fix. 10 week rolling
contract is not that.

There was also an article on Rugby Pass:
"It is understood that Deans, who was in charge of the
Wallabies between 2008 and 2013 and won 44 of his 75 Tests in
charge, will work remotely from his home in New
Zealand."
Maybe something special is building here........oh wait! We've
heard that one elsewhere 🤣
Well I have renewed as, at the very least, I can whinge and moan
from my seat with "I told you so"

After all this what’s the betting that further to consultation
we are making Jason Gilmore head coach
If the rumoured 600k salary is right we won’t be getting Deans
and Robertson, that’s for sure
