Did anyone say there would be a worldwide search? It wasn't in
the club statement about required changes in January.

Apologies if I got that wrong, but I could have sworn there was
a worldwide sounding word used

Quins need to be so careful with this next appointment. I know
I’m always dramatic and negative, but I genuinely feel if they
go for a cheap and uninspired option and nothing improves beyond
current levels it would cause serious possibly irreparable
damage to the club.
I think with the names being mentioned, it’s probably been a bit
of a “back to earth” moment for the club as I believe a lot had
delusions of grandeur in the Quins brand having a huge pull. I
suspect maybe there’s a few things present beyond just the day
to day coaching element that’s putting any head coach
off…certainly if you believe the comments from ex players.

I don't understand why you think that the Quins brand doesn't
have a huge pull.
We play in one of the world's major capital cities.
We have a good home ground and supporter base.
The club has a long history and iconic colours.
The play in an area that is renowned for rugby history (i.e.
Twickenham)
I believe that we have the historic right to play in the Big
Stoop - and we do this at least twice per season.
We have the budget to spend up to the salary cap.
We have pretty good training facilities (okay - I know there are
clubs with better facilities e.g. Bath - - - but there are many
clubs with much worse).
And - we are probably willing to pay a descent salary.
But - yeah, we lost a few games - so . . .

It’s not just a few games though if you look back the last 2/3
seasons. We should have had people banging down the door to
register their interest but from what’s known it would be fair
to say on the balance of probabilities we’ve not got really any
majorly impressive interested candidates.
My opinion is involvement of LD and Spokes is probably off
putting for the next level candidate the club needs. You’ll
probably disagree, but that’s fine as it’s a forum.

Come now. We've won two whole games in the Prem this season. If
that doesn't shout success, I don't know what does!

We’ve had more playing shirt styles created this season than
wins, what a time to be alive

Maybe you just need to be a little clearer about what you mean
then :-)
Because - it comes across that you just dislike absolutely
everything about the club, the team, the coaches, the
management, the shop, the merchendise, the social media guys,
the marketing team, the supporters, the location, the ethos, the
future, the past, etc, etc, etc.
