Staples seems to be highly thought of, perhaps get him in the
first team to see what he can do. Anyone know where Riley is?
And considering Turner is off next season (terrible decision for
only a 1 year deal, he's better than Walker) we need someone to
step up

The future of our pack looks bright if we can secure most of
those long term. Particularly excited to see E Williams develop
- we've lacked enforcer types, he could be the answer. Can see
Streeter becoming integral in the not-too-distant future too -
and Friday's already competing for the 9 shirt week-to-week. Now
we just pray that the incoming Head Coach will be the guy to
pull it all together and be that spark of inspiration.

At the state of play they put up an XV of U23 players, 14 of
whom had played age grade representative rugby, all of whom had
had a first team start and none of whom were regular first team
players yet, and Ferg made the point that he didn't think any
other Prem team could do that.
They cheated somewhat by putting Friday at 9, who (rather like
Marcus) has become the 1st XV starter somewhat ahead of schedule
through injury to other players but seems likely to retain the 9
shirt even when Porter is back fit.

Now is the best time to give these u20s starts.
Pressure is off, as it’s not like if any make an error and we
lose it’s going to make any difference to making playoffs or
not. The experience they would get though would be massively
beneficial next season as it might at least highlight areas they
need to work on

In principle, yes. And the team has been well served by that in
the past - both Prem winning seasons involved young players who
had got experience in the 1st team early.
But we are also still live in the Champions Cup, and I would
expect the coaches to prioritise giving the squad for that game
time together over anything else.
