I imagine that number includes season ticket holders that have
taken their ticket for this match. This is going to be terrible
on TV. Maybe they will rest this match after this season. That
is a big loss to take.

Very sad if true and don’t want it to be as it just hurts our
club but there is a clear message that fans feel they are not
getting a good deal. Don’t take us from granted.

If this event doesn't make money, then we are back to hoping
that some rich bloke pays for half of our ticket costs to watch
the game on Saturdays.
If the "Big" games don't deliver and (as the other thread points
out) the TV money is not great then rugby depends on Sugar
Daddies. And, personally, I feel dirty accepting money handouts
from Sugar Daddies.

At least getting home on the train from Twickenham will be
easier than usual

From the beginning there’s only been half the middle tier open
for sale and even so there’s acres of avail seats when you look
at the map.
Not sure I agree with the vague air of triumphalism in some
replies if this is a massive failure.
Presumably we’d still like Quins to exist?
Either way it’s not pretty - need to sell 40k to make it more
profitable than a Stoop game. (Reckon capacity is 50 with those
available?)
Music act has been announced around this week the past two
years….but who’s going to agree to what could be a very empty
stadium?
Not looking great.

I would guess the extra home game (Sale in Europe) will help
finance wise.

Will Kelleher also reported that only about 8,000 tickets have
been sold so far for Sale.

Maybe the club should have made the ticket prices more
reasonable, it was always going to be a hard sell on Easter
weekend,

Yeah we’re away seeing family, and assume a lot of other people
are as well. Easter sat is a tough sell.

I certainly don't want bsko to fail as it's bad for the club,
but I think a financial hit like this is what will really make
the club take note. They don't seem fussed about the league
position but a big financial hit like this is what will bother
them.
As others have said, bsko is always going to be risky, as
attendance will be a lot more dependent on league position and
weather than big game will be.
