Use these all the time at Twickenham. My feeling is that there
is more rarely a queue and when there is it usually moved more
quickly

I'm certain the reduction in staff needed to work a bar is
reflected in the cost?

Would you really expect it to be?

That's interesting - do you think it's because it hasn't caught
on yet? Presumably the manned bars were still rammed?

I think it's partly that but also that the self-service is only
Guinness and a lager (although at BG17, the one i used only had
Guinness). If you want a "mixed" order, you've got to go to the
usual bars.

The ones at the Stoop seem to work quite well (until the barrel
needs changing and then there is chaos).
The nice thing is that I normally order 2 pints at a time and
then I grab 3 cups and split the 2 pints between 3 cups - which
means that it is easier to carry them back to my seat without
spilling any.

Great idea, get a whole load of them.
Fit them with urinals so you can take piss while pouring, be
handy for the clowns that can't hold their bladder for 95 mins
