Well, the odds on England are drifting but I think you'd expect
that anyway. I don't think there is any possible England team
announcement that could make people think, "Hold on, I think
they've got a good chance now!".

“44% of England’s missed tackles lead to a line break or try —
extremely high.“
The issue there is not the missed tackles (any aggressive
defences will miss tackles in a game) but where they are missed
and the recovery afterwards. It’s the missed tackles down the
middle that are killing England, because they aren’t getting
enough players across to cover the supporting runners.
Dupont will know exactly how to exploit that.

Hopefully France put England to the sword because there will be
bluster/spin from SB then. The worst thing that could happen
for the RWC considering how we've prepared for this tournament
is a narrow loss/win aided by say a contentious French red card.

France get a red card in Paris? Not if the TV director has
anything to do with it!

I know, wishful thinking. I miss the France days when they were
either utterly terrible, or truly amazing - at least keeping it
a lottery until kick off. Now it's mostly the latter :(

I will begrudgingly watch the game. Hopefully France smash us so
it brings the curtain down on the Borthwick and Wiggy reign and
we get a proper reset.
I'm not sure I can endure anymore of his teams turgid rugby.

Clearly SB has not been reading this board.

Looking forward to Saturday after all.
Let's see if Maro can go through the game without a yellow.
