Benetton only scored points that we gifted them, they didn't
actually make anything themselves

Yep, the weather was appalling and it could be used as an excuse
for some of the handling errors but not for the poor kicking
from hand (why do we gift opponents so much possession) or the
atrocious line outs. We were even worse than the weather IMHO

Can't disagree with the negative comments about the kicking. It
was clearly a tactical decision to kick away possession to
create territorial pressure, but the Benetton full back had a
comfortable afternoon.
Conditions were really difficult, yet, we actually looked decent
with the ball in hand (until we dropped it!) Lang was spreading
it well and Saili is a terrific carrier. Marchant is just
incredible. Player of the season contender already!
Bigger picture, Gussy has now had a chance to look at pretty
much everyone, for a couple of games at least (bar Horwill). I
am really hoping that he sets up a team to smash Leicester on
Saturday. Easy for me to say, I know! More difficult for them to
do!
Ultimately, a decent win that sets us up for a shot at
qualification. Well done boys!

Atrocious conditions. But the weather was the same for both
teams.
Their full back had a good game. We kicked poorly, but he read
every single one well... He ran onto lots of them, and
anticipated their trajectory.
Good teams win despite only getting a few chances. I'm not
saying we're a good team just yet, but you've got to start
somewhere.
