OT: Scotland France

Apart from the now almost certain defeat could it be worse for
France? 59th minute maul before the 6th try it looked very like
a French defender was groping strongly around the eye area.
Thoughts of others?

Got to hand that to Scotland. I don't think anyone saw that
coming. France were poor, though. They never seemed to click.
Dupont probably should have been hauled off earlier.

Scotland have a style of play that Quins would do well to
emulate.
Flair and talent and speed in a backline combined with players
able to break and bend defences, all played at breakneck pace.
Dempsey in particular was immense at 8. Sione would also be an
answer to our prayers at 12. What a player and captain.

The citing has now been submitted; Nigel Owens has said he was
surprised it wasn't reviewed at the time. Disciplinary panel
tomorrow morning.

A balanced back row... What's that?
I really don't think the Irish will relish Saturday now, though
Scotland's record in Dublin is dreadful. Will require Scotland
playing 4 good games in a row though. Something they've not done
for a very long time.
