I know the fans might not find this acceptable and it might have
season ticket sales etc. implications but as far more will be
available after the RWC and with the relegation ladder pulled up
then why not consider an interim solution for a post RWC
       appointment (like New Red Bull)?

If they halve the prices for everything because they are wasting
another season, maybe. If they continue to charge what they
charge, they need to get a serious DoR in and sharpish. We’ve
       been drifting for five years.

I don't think they're ever "wasting" a season. They may not be
winning, but if that's all that matters then maybe you follow
       the wrong team?
Even in the worst run if games, I enjoy elements. Seeing guys
like Hobson step up, Waghorn come through, Friday lifting the
tempo, these are all highlights. Players like Murley, Northmore
and Beard getting capped on the back of hard work and
perseverance through hard times, makes me proud that they're
Quins. And there's always Marcus, a player that many teams not
just in England would give their right arm to sign.
We're a few percent off being a phenomenal team. It will happen.

Although we have not only been losing but also playing well
       below our capabilities.

The Head Coach literally said they’d given up and where did I
say constantly winning was what I expect? You can’t invent
your own explanation of someone’s post and then question if they
should support the team (nearly 40 years in my case). What I
expect is basic skills to a high level, some kind of plan and
100% commitment from every player. I haven’t seen those things
for a long time and waiting for another year to bring someone in
to change that means, in my opinion, a season wasted.
Regardless of that, I will continue to support my club thanks.

He didn't literally say that. He said the season was gone. It
was stupid, but it wasn't a lie. That's not the same as saying
       you've given up.

Yes, I suspect he meant that it was mathematically gone, but it
comes across as synonymous with giving up, however you spin it.

I like the optimism and I agree that we're not a million miles
off from being competitive again. The problem is, most clubs
would say they're a few percent off being a top team. The
question is, how do you get those few percent

I think "few percent" requires "a few new players." The depth of
the squad AS ALWAYS over many years now is simply not up to it.
