Freeman must have been busy, then, playing on both sides.
Likewise with Genge, Heyes, Itoje, Earl...

If its the A team backline then leaving Ojomoh out for Freeman
who was poor at 13 vs Scotland is particularly strange.

I don't think Ojomoh is still in the squad.

There are some injuries but I'm just repeating the line that's
coming from the England camp. Don't shoot the messenger!

I don't think Freeman did a whole lot wrong and he wasn't the
one hoofing it away or dropping the ball all the time, really. I
       don't think England's approach there helped a 13 at all - you
spend all day chasing properly rubbish kicks and defending
against one of the better centre partnerships in world rugby
while any attack generally broke down before it got that far
       out, great, thanks Steve
Ojomoh's future for England is probably at 12 anyway I think but
having someone who plays both positions really well is obviously
       a bonus

The rest of the backs also have to make Fords tackles as he is
hidden in defence a lot of the time to protect him.

Ojomah at 13 over Freeman would have been a better pick, as he
plays a lot of rugby there. With Lawrence injured he was often
13 with Redpath at 12. Freeman is a winger who can play centre,
where as Ojomah is an out and out centre and I think has the
highest ceiling out of his his main 12 rivals in
Atkinson/Dingwall. If keeping with the current squad, even Daly
at 13 would have been better (I think thats actually his best
       position).
Roebuck was fairly anon the first 2 games, so he will need a big
game. On the plus side, if he fluffs his lines again, combined
with Arundell, if Murley plays well he could stay in the
equation. Otherwise I imagine Radwan/OHC will be in the mix

Ojomoh also has the advantage of being a really good 10, so he
could cover that position, too. He's really come on this season.
Having Finn Russell to study under has done him no harm at all.

I think Roebuck's a bit like Marcus in that the game plan
doesn't suit him so he looks exposed. The plan with Arudell is
keep getting the ball to him so the player on the other wing
suffers as a result. The kick to reclaim is now easily defended
so that doesn't help him either. His defence is very good and he
is a finisher but, like Murley, needs the ball in his hands.
If we keep losing wingers to yellow cards, we'll suffer. Does
Daly improve our defence at 15? He's better than Freddie but
he's no Mike Brown in his pomp. But having Roebuck and Murley
there helps from a defensive point of view. So one suspect back
3 defender is better than three.

       Murley having a lively start.
