Ollie Chessum to be dropped? He's been one of the highlights of
the 6N, when we haven't had many. Maybe it's rotation, but I
would want our strongest team against Italy to make sure we
actually win.
I do think Murley deserves another chance, to good. Daly? Well,
maybe they think they need the experience and/or that Furbank
isn't up to fitness.
Freeman at 13 seems like an experiment that isn't working. He's
going to struggle against Italy's centres.
Maybe Borthwick just doesn't want his favourite players to get
the blame if England lose to Italy for the first time ever.

Interesting. I was expecting fewer more conservative and
uninspiring changes.
Not sure about Chessum though, unless it's a plan. 😁

If Murley goes up against Lynagh, I’d expect him to beat him
comfortably.

Dropping Chessum would be mad, the only second row worth
dropping is Itoje who’s not been at his best and has been
outplayed by Cole’s.
Don’t think Freeman is working which is a shame as playing 13
for Saints was how he really got noticed to begin with.

Freeman only had one average game at 13 - which tbh was one
defensive error that everyone jumped on - and he was excellent
against Australia and Wales in that position. Really think he's
worth persevering with.

Making Itoje captain makes him borderline undroppable in the
eyes of a coach like Borthwick IMO.
