I'll try and have a go at that this week. But no promises as
that mobile CSS sheet has defeated me on many occasions!

Agreed. I suspect the site Admin (as opposed to me) is going to
show less interest in the V1 CSS for Createaforum than the
current V2 stuff.

Sorry, I didn't make myself clear. I meant the desktop version
of the view rating window - the comparison was intended to be
with the rest of the shiny new desktop stuff. The mobile view
rating window hasn't changed, AFAIK.

Tried with co-pilot to change it, but according to co-pilot
"That popup is a totally standalone mini-page:
No:
- custom theme CSS
- custom header/footer
- extra templates
So anything you add in your forum (theme CSS, header, footer,
etc.) never gets loaded in this window. There’s literally
nothing from your board being pulled in that we can hook into.
Direct answer: from inside CreateAForum’s normal admin/theming
tools, you cannot change the background, font, or size of this
“View Ratings” popup. It’s locked to that shared CDN
stylesheet."
So we'll just have to live with it.

Can't include pics in a PM, this is the default page with the
new CSS. I don't think it's as impossible to hack as co-pilot
says.

Well, that looks like the mobile version and may well be how the
window originally looked although I can't remember. Looks much
better to me.
It does seem strange that the window had changed if you haven't
actually changed the cdn stylesheet or script files. Mind you, I
retired nearly 6 years ago and HTML was never something I needed
to know much about beyond the basics.

Maybe I'm dreaming about the desktop window. It's just that, in
particular, the Times New Roman (or similar) font really leapt
out at me as wrong.

Apparently it's the difference between
HTML https://cdn.smfboards.com/caf/css/index.css
and
HTML https://cdn.smfboards.com/caf2/css/index.css
The newer one has dropped some of the code the old one had.
This isn't anything I can fix, according to co-pilot, so I
dumped the problem on the site Admin.
The actual code for the page is exactly the same between old and
new. But this is what CSS is supposed to do, from the same code
you can get two completely different looks.
