       If he extended towards the end of last season, I’ll be stunned
       if we only covered him for this season rather than a 2 year
       deal. But then again, I wouldn’t be the surprised considering
       how Ed Spokes and the recruitment/contracts have been handled
       the last few seasons

       Nope - there were rumours clubs wanted him before renewal and he
       may have been off then, but nothing since
